Good FridayA Poem by Kathy Van KurinGood
Friday, You
are laced in shadows and light, And I ponder. The
clouds above push along and share breezes - Prodding,
brisk about. Towhee,
red wing and sparrow, echo then repeat -In beauteous harmonies Tender. Shadow
and lace sun mosaics dance. Spread courtyard surface as if fine bisque. This
setting, this page- to pour my thoughts Because
Jesus the Christ is no stranger In
human shell given from our Father, Emmanuel -Is now shared to give meaning. Jesus’
Death, to bring life; if people will listen to your voice. Good
Friday, your true message God
is good for all who will hear. Messiah,
you came to save every lost soul. You’ll
not leave even one little lamb crying. For
your mission is seeking and saving unloved children, -Covered, in shadows weight. Do
we know of your love, bright shining? © 2018 Kathy Van KurinFeatured Review
