Take what is workable to your own mind and heart regarding poem.
The photograph is of a floral arrangement I put together. It went to the library where it was shared. Who doesn't love flowers!

This is beautiful & gracefully written. I love it when a person can share specifics of a certain faith without it sounding the least bit preachy. In your author's note you suggest: "take what is workable" . . . that suggestion is appreciated, but not needed becuz your writing itself is an open invitation to know & share your way of seeing life, even if one is not of the same faith. To me this is the best kind of spiritual writing (((HUGS)) Fondly, Margie

This is like a little gift let on my doorstep; discovering a review from you! Please forgive me for not realizing it sooner. Every so often I try to go through and see if their is a comment from a dear writer that I have missed...and here you are! Yea, this poem came from a feeling within; as if a pushing against my very being....a growing, a vibrancy. It had to be expressed. I see the same in you! Thanks so much for your helpful review. To see another's view is always interesting and I oftimes learn something about others and how they feel. It,s cool, you know?
Bye for now and blessings

This is a good poem.
I'm glad you brushed upon such an important aspect of life which is the soul, which is God's divine spark in us. The omnipresence of Our Creator makes it possible for Him to be present at once within the mind/soul of each individual human and animal.
So that means although we are each a divine spark of God, our soul, our mind, cannot see what the next man or woman is thinking; whereas The Creator knows what each animal and human is thinking, all at the same time.
And that is the knowledge of the soul, its relevance and connection to us and our Maker, that each human must be aware of.
WELL DONE

Divinity speaks in the greatness of creation far beyond what we know. So great and so awe inspiring. Capacity to be available in any and every situation. Facets of God's image. Jesus redeems and saves, still saves. We are His main concern.
Nice to hear from you again. Love your open and honest sharing.

Yes God is constant and available, it's only us who choose to turn on and off the accessibility. It is so lovely to see you have found that place where peace resides - fortunate you are. This poem encapsulates that feeling for me.

The fragility of life is one of the things that makes it so beautiful; a butterfly wing, a gossamer spider web or a daisy growing wild from the concrete cracks. There is strength in fragility that belies the appearance. Perhaps all things have more to offer than they seem capable of...even we humans. Bless.

Ah! This is breathtakingly beautiful Kathy 😊you've described well how we as a human (covering) are way too different and evolved when seen through the heart's mind!
And your last stanza left me awestruck!😊
" We are all partners
-Within, this life’s Frey.
I have met you
-Hungry for meaning.
To be heard.
To be loved."
Brilliantly penned! *Smiles*

I am a flower, nourish me.. delicate I am, shade me..invite me to endure time and i will still die but, be remembered for once having been alive.
Those words sum up at least part of my thoughts on 'the soul'. What remains when the spirit fades?
And that in turn, shelters others when nights are pitch black. Perhaps.
