I love your poem, but I would not feed wildlife the empty crap we humans invented. Soda crackers? I wouldn't feed my dog soda crackers! But aside from my culinary snobbishness, I find it amazing how (living in the wilderness as I do) the word gets around when there is something for the birds to eat around here! The birds peck my garden to pieces & they get enuf of my food, so I don't feel any obligation to feed the greedy little suckers any more than they already grab! *wink! wink!* Happy Easter! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Well I have a fence around my property so no deer. Other critters do manage to find there way though. Song birds are so super!
Love your thoughts.

I love this picture. A feast for these little guys and a caring heart just soaking up the joy of spending some time outside with a few humble creatures.

Creatures do seem humble don't they...I like that. I do kind of soak it up. You are really perceptive on that one. Well will see whether this girl will ever get around to writing about anything but natural stuff as I do really love it. Thankyou for reading my poem, it does mean so much. Blessings to you .......................Kathy

Glad you liked my little poem. It was a special day for me. Many types of song birds which also hand out on the blackberry hedge as well. Blessings to you and in your writing...................Kathy
It's wonderful to share our lives with nature. Our garden has several bird feeders and bird baths, but they are often "shared", (perhaps "pirated "would be a better description) by squirrels, field mice and hedgehogs.
.....and we live in town. My main fascination is with spiders.
Your poem shows that watching this "simpler " form of entertainment can sometimes be more complex than technology. Thank you.

So nice to hear of another's appreciation of garden and loveliness right out your door. Spiders; hmmm. well they are interesting and make for good photo ops especially back-lit. Getting away from inside and electronic anything is central to me. Bless you Kathy
i like this because it shows a sharing with nature...and how all these different birds can come peacefully and share...why can't humans be the same way...
and yet the last line is telling...if there is sharing, if there is a coming together, it is here and gone at lightning speed...love is so ephemeral.

Sharing this is what sticks from your response. I really need to remember that. We people I think desire community and sharing but it does take patience, time and work. You have given me food for thought. Thankyou ................Sincerely, Kathy
How cute! Conjures up some sweet imagery. I can imagine the creatures nibbling at lightning speed. "Neither a word spoken no a gripe displayed" Nicely put! Thanks for sharing. :)
