The sunlight creeps in through the blinds, harassing her to wake. She rolls over and curls up against the body present on the other side of the bed.He wraps his arm around her and pulls her closer. She feels his lips brush against her forehead. A sigh escapes her lips as she burrows deeper into the embrace. She could stay like this forever, if only she didn’t have all that work to do. A disgruntled groan is released as she begins to wriggle out of the bed.

A sudden rustling of fabric comes from behind her just as an arm snakes around her waist. She was dragged back to the bed without a fight.
“Just another half hour, babe.” Comes a male voice as she rested her head on his chest and listened to his heart beat.
She softly murmured a sound of agreement as she closed her eyes and willed her muscles to relax.
There was a sharp click as the door handle turns. Soft foot steps pad into the room, a gentle tug at the quilt. “Mummy? Daddy?” pipes up a small voice.
She shuffles away from the warm body in her bed and reaches out to the small presence, seeking attention.A small hand grips her hand in return. She pulls her arm back towards her with a darling daughter in tow.
Her daughter snuggles into the gap between her husband and herself. She holds her daughter close and cherishes the love that is between them. A pair of masculine arms reaches around the pair of them.
There they lay, a restful family, surrounded by an atmosphere of love and security.
