It's great to see one of my old favorite back up again. The words ring with as much truth as before too. It's hard enough gaining self-acceptance, but then to have people refuse to accept us for who we are...no way...hit the road...take me as I am or leave. There is so much strength in this...just to be able to feel this shows that you've learned to love and accept yourself. :)

A song from the heart..
It will take a man to really know who we are. And knowing a person inside out will not happen overnight. So this piece is very seasonable. Seasonable in the sense that it has been set on the appropriate time which is in the middle of a relationship. It is not right to say "accept me for what I am" when two people are in the start of a relationship but rather at a later time. A very simple write yet very precise:) well done!
