YellowhammerA Poem by Katrina MckeownA delightful little bird
The yellow sun
captures the bright enchanting beauty as I stood amongst the tranquil shades inside the woodland shrubs entwined with splendid scents. I must say I don’t know why some would think there is a similarity as I must declare you don’t look anything like a reed bunting to me they aren’t as brightly coloured as thee. As I watch you dance and glide through the air and listen to your song I’ve entered into a trance though don’t despair as I must surly stare upon this beauty circling up in the air. © 2020 Katrina MckeownReviews
