It amazes me how putting things that should be common sense into the simplest terms can be so profound. That's what this is. Obviously, we can't live in the future, because it hasn't come yet, and won't come until the proper time. We know we can't live in the past, because it doesn't exist anymore. Living in the present is our only option, so why not be present in the present? You bring this truth to another level with your wisdom and insight.

A little piece of wise brevity here Katrina. Most people either live in the past or plan for the future. To really live and enjoy the present can be elusive. It takes a conscious effort, but a worthwhile one. Easier when you are young I would say.

can't argue with the philosophy here...the past is done, can't relive it...and the future will be what it is...can't predict it or plan exactly for what it will be...the only power we have is over what we are doing right now...
