Standing up in the front and performing when there are many others listening to you try out for a spot is little nerve racking, especially when you don't know your music as well as you should. I have learned this many time between playing my flute for concert, pep, and marching band and singing in choir over the years. The most recent one happened on February 5, 2012 after Celebration at church. I was trying out for a place on my church's Worship Team playing my flute. While I was very comfortable singing along with the songs, the same could not be said about playing my flute.
