If My Love Could Have Kept YouA Poem by Autumn RoseI guess this is a typical break up poem. That ends in heart ache and regret. If my love were your everything you'd still be here. If my heart were your courage, you'd have no fear. If my body were your blanket, you'd never get cold. If my soul were your appearance, you'd never grow old. If my touch were your happiness, you'd never know sad. If my kiss were your temper, you'd never be mad. We could have been great, that is you and I. But instead you snatched my heart, and said your goodbye. You left me alone, but I found someone new. Thanks for your cruelty, he's better than you.
