Hostile

Hostile

A Poem by Kat
"

As usual the name I've chosen hints only to the feeling of the poem I wrote, give it a chance. I've gone through a LOT of changes so if you read some earlier stuff it's different, but me I hope

"

Hostile

The steady pace of your breathe

It only takes a second

We only took a second

A second of fear, scorned heat

Only frigid glances last a lifetime

If armored with will-power that burns my soul

Our skin and bones guide the envious plot to weaken my death.

Live with me; feel with me, Breathe with me

Let us die with what’s left of discolored passion

I don’t love you, but do I need you?

Are you as precious as the water?

As accessible as air?

Or only craved, when deprived like the food I eat

You are precious when I ‘am

When accessible I ‘am

Craved, when I’ am craved

Let us pace as one

Dive with me
