Repulsive

There another world out there

Where a smile is judged in the eyes rather than its beauty

Where love is shared out of desire

And because these chains hold no weight

 Life is growth

Not scheduled

We are slaves to a false prophet

He has stolen the title as Time

With brittle bodies, and cast iron hearts

Tears become anger

And what used to be happiness is now motive

Many cry out; motive for peace!

This Blasphemous Plague indulges on its victim’s

There is no hope for mankind, while stuck in the race against time

With shame in the heart and honor in our back pocket

A grotesque disgrace has stained Human Race

Escape without hope, is failure

But find your faith, and such shame becomes honor

And honor give birth to hope

And hope set’s flight to our chained, time kept minds

Apply this to any part of your life. Really this is not about God, I would state that clearly it's more about Time, especially in America.

yes I agree it doesn't have to be religious... faith can be interpreted in so many ways... and the line "escape without hope is failure" is very much profound.. I like the theme of time... we give our time, everything we do is within time.. and we give it to a false prophet... with a false cause.. something meaningless and we let ourselves be enslaved until it becomes the system and the way out is so convoluted.. but we're all just trying to break free.. you shine a much needed light, really great work.

I've read this too my brother, who stated; "you are religious this is religious because it is apart of you even if you don't mean it too be religious." So any interpretation is encouraged. I love the use "false prophet.." and finding "false cause." You skill in comparison, is profound! Thank you for the encouragement and inspiration. Ps.
