Shine Bright

Once you learn the signs

you see them everywhere

wounds and scars so deep

they can't be ignored

Some people have them 

deep within their soul

that never see the light 

of healing and love

some wear them proudly

on their skin and face

letting every one see

what they have endured

the miracle in all this

is the beauty I see

in each soul and face

as they are healed

lives full of laughter

joy and compassion

beings full of light

shining very bright
