My Life Complete

My Life Complete

A Poem by Kat Wildd

I didn't ask for pain and scars

to mark the passing of time

or a river of tears shed

both for good and bad

yet now I understand

they are just a part

making me who I am

shaping who I become

so bring on the day

with all that it holds

I will stand in power

and strength of will

facing the obstacles

and sharing the joys

all of these things

making up my life

until the final day

when I rest complete

Very positive. There will be bumps along the way. But as long as this is your default state of mind all will be well. I like the execution of the poem as well. It looks well thought out and important. And I like it that most of the words are plain English of the best sort. The sense of completness is reflected in the look of the poem. I know some will not care about that. But I sense it matters.

How inspiring...to come to this point of conviction and confidence. Taking on what life has to give and letting it make you shine.

I truly enjoyed this poem...! A grand testimony to happiness...

Excellent...

I think you need an appropriate pic added to the story to enhance the reader experience....I like the spacing though of the words and the ending brings the ideas together nicely.

As scars are the signs to build up some future on... holding them deeply to guide, for better ways. You shall appreciate life, until the coffin knocks. Great write!
