Transformation

A Poem by Kaseda
"

A poem about the juxtaposing equality of love and hate.

"
Everybody always says
That the best time of their life
Is when they are in love

I say it's the worst time of your life
Because love changes
Love changes everything
Love changes love

You never come out
The same as you go in
Love is a brutal machine
With a dangerous output

When you come out
You never want to go in again
Because it's difficult to want to love
When everybody you ever loved
You now hate

I hate hating
But hate loves love
Because whenever I love
It results in hate

And the only solution
Is to stop the machine
You don't get the output
If you don't give the input

But it's not that easy
It never will be
Because as much as I hate hate
I also love love

Once you go through once
You're never the same
And once you hate once
You're never the same

I just want to be happy
But there's only one way
And that is to love
But not to hate

Had I never loved first
I wouldn't be hating
And if I did not hate
Than I would be happy

But you never know that
When you go in
You must have input
To see the output

The output is a poison
That cannot be cured
It may only be delayed
By more input

So it all boils down
To a single decision:
Love who you will hate
Or never love at all?
