You never know whats in store

Whats around the next fork in the road

It may be like your on a dance floor

Life is good so much ahead

Heading for that dream world

Then one day reality hits you hard

Life is not candy land and dreams

One horrid day and you are scarred

With eyes so scary it makes you scream

You don't have a clue

So you just lay low until it happens again

 

No one to talk to, no one to tell

Must keep it burried, must keep it hidden

It works for a while, it works very well

For it is the forbidden

 

But the day will come

When is stays hidden no more

It will let itself be known

And you will succumb

 

It won't let you ignore

It will come back to haunt

It will open that door

and will stand there and taunt

 

You will have to face it

Head on at that

Weather you want to or not

It will let you know what you forgot

 

Even in its uggliness

It will force you to see it

For it won't go away

No matter how hard you try
