TOUCH THE SKYA Poem by KimThe rise and fall of someone with BipolarWhirling, Twirling, round and round Remember the swirl of the merry go round? Long winding roads to a place far away Oh the joy, oh the fun, oh the potters clay
Feeling so high you could touch the sky Going and going no time to stop Dust mop, a can of pop, and a trip to the shop The energy is grand, like a big bass band
Sleep does not come, even when you try What have I become? What have I done? Let's get on a plane, and say goodbye Let's have some fun, let's see the hot sun
What's going on? What is your problem? Why are you screaming? What are you doing? Leave them alone, they did nothing to you Go Take a hike, go get on your bike
Crash and burn, I knew that would be Have to come down, your the talk of the town Your not very well, you are just a shell Dark room, soft music, your blanket and bed Is where you need to be for a while © 2008 KimAuthor's Note
