An Angel

An Angel

A Poem by usman

It sizzles
Down the mirror of joy

Mothers call
Aye

Blessed torturous lies
Heaven sighs,why?

Treacherous deceitful smiles
Long waits,awhile

Birth of sorrow
Nurtured strikes

A story told
More than twice

Greenfields
Virgin rice

With her house
Close to mine

Stranger's
Yet we had time

Milady I called
Her fingers,cutting lime .

She turned
Looking like a gold,a dime

In her eyes
I saw mine

She was one
But I swore,I saw nine

Yes
She replied

A word ,I heard
Piercing through my mind

Her neighbors
Said she was kind

No doubt
She made me blind

My heart
And hers combine

An attraction
We felt a bind

Passing through
History with time

With all
My struggles,my love life

Girls
That pierced my heart with knives

In that moment
Finally,I saw what was mine.
