Ruttless EndA Poem by usman
A ruthless end
You told me I wasn't enough But yet your fight wasn't tough You told me how I made you sob With the soft tune of my voice down your ear lobe You told me I should pack my stuff There was a part of me you didn't trust. How could a hi turn to a bye. How could what seemed real now turns to not a big deal. Turning your back at me, bursting into tears I stood there mumbling with all fears. What went wrong? My heart was all ding dong. While I watched you walked away like a fairy tale song. You called a liar and a cheat. That I can not live life without deceit. Crying your heart out as you walked by. My heart aches like a shattered lullaby. I promised myself I wasn't going to cry. With all that happened, I will stay sober with my eyelids dry. As I reached out for the door. Turning back and looking at you once more. The lust through your eyes I can sense. Ours was a story with no suspense Unlocking the key and stepping out. Into a new life, where you will never know my whereabout. Written by; Muktar Najeeb and usman karofi © 2015 usman |
