Identity

Identity

A Poem by Shelly Wiseberg
"

Finding your own identity when feeling stuck in sorrow looking for happiness

"
I lost my identity
Was gone in a flash
A whole year has passed
Without any laughs

The memory got stuck
Without any luck
I got erased from my life
Saddened with strife
The pain never leaving
It cuts like a knife

Haunted by night demons
Ghosts from the past
Searching for miracles
Happiness that lasts

I lost my identity
Was gone in a flash
Fighting to gain control
The future was cast
