Nameless Sin pt2A Poem by karmicThis is about letting a old memory go.The sun shines on her hair As she wakes from my nightmare Last night I think I heard her speak Her lungs still fragile and weak Her fingers stroll down to her breast In search for the beating in her chest I don’t know when I became so obsessed I want her body, soul, and all she possessed It’s hard to say what made her appear But she is fading away in my fear She is everything that makes me A mocking memory Choking on the reason to let her go! How much I love her, she’ll never know But now I don’t know what to do She is just an imitation of you As always I’ am just too perverse To let go of this curse I can tell her time has passed Just another shadow that I had cast But she is the only one that makes me whole! The fitting piece to my tangled soul Dressed in your skin But bathed in my sin Her eyes now reflect the midnight moon I know that she will be gone soon But now I don’t know what to do She is just an imitation of you Her delicate yet cold baby skin Submitting to my poison Consuming hands grasp remedies Bleeding together countless memories She placed her hands on her throat as she gasped for air The room rotating and spinning, lit by her black tears Her expression solemn Eyes dim But now I don’t know what to do She is just an imitation of you A mistake born out of passion Left to die without compassion Now I see in the very end That I’ am alone again Because she wasn’t real, a creation A copy of you, but an imitation
