Jake awoke from the sound of the train stopping; he jumped up and tapped Elsine on the back.

“We’ve stopped brother” Jake shouted.

“We have?” Elsine said dizzily. Elsine grabbed his suitcase and led the way out the booth, but he was then pushed back in. Elsine’s fell face first into the window. A drop of blood fled from his nose. A girl with pink hair walked into the booth. The girl wore glasses and eye color was hazel.

“Elsine?” Jake fearfully said.

“What the hell was that for!?” Elsine barked, while jumping back to his feet and covering his nose which was now bleeding a lot more.

“You don’t want to go out there” the girl pointed out the window. The siblings turned to see three Trigents walking outside the train.

“This is the town of Daniye. The military is taking this place apart in search for Vixions” the girl explained.

“How do you know we are Vixions?” Jake asked.

“Well that’s my ability. I can sense other Vixions around me. My ability also tells me the Vixion’s ability and how powerful it is. My name is Nina” she told them.

“Hah my powers must look pretty impressive to you then” Elsine laughed.

“Not really” she replied, while sitting down. The expression on Elsine face quickly changed.

“What do you mean not really?” Elsine repeated.

“Well it seems that you only know how to change your arms into different elements. You don’t even know how to change your whole body yet. I give your power the rating of two” she teased.

“So do you know my power?” Jake asked.

“Of course, let me see. You have super strength and you can make a barrier, but your strength only goes up to things like picking up a simple car and your barrier is really weak. I give you a four” Nina said.

“You can’t judge our powers when your power is only to scan people” Elsine groaned. The train began moving away from Daniye.

“I never said scanning was my only power” Nina chuckled, her body then turned into Elsine’s form.

“I’m also a shape shifter” she grinned.

“That’s so cool!” Jae admired.

“Yea whatever” Elsine turned away. Nina transformed back into her normal form.

“Don’t pout. You’re actually really lucky. If you would have gotten on the train before this on. You would have ran into two Vixions with the rating of seven on my scale” Nina explained.

“Seven huh? May I ask where you are going?” Elsine groaned.

“If you must know. I’m going to the military” she paused and stared out the window.

“So you’re going to become one of those Vixions’ that hunts other Vixions” Elsine muttered.

“No. I have my reasons for doing this” Nina responded. Elsine rested his head on his arm and watched the sun slowly rise.

“Reason?” Elsine thought.

“Attention all passengers we are going to stop at Bavin. All passengers must get off the train due to an accident on the tracks up ahead” the intercom had announced. The train went through a dark tunnel and exited on the other side. There approached a city that sparkled like crystals.

“So this is Bavin” Jake exclaimed. Jake turned to Elsine who was starting to smile.

“A town that resembles crystals huh? Maybe it is here” Elsine said excitedly.

“Brother don’t get your hopes up please. This can also be a dead end” Jake said.

“That’s why you guys are traveling? You two are looking for the Harpy Crystal” Nina groaned. The train stopped at Bavin, there were no Trigents in sight.

“Trust me. End your search now” Nina said while standing up.

“Me and Elsine can’t just end our search. We worked too hard” Jake explained. Nina shook her head.

“You don’t understand what people would do for that thing” she whispered.

Fire surrounded the tracks and the turned over train.

“Corey are you okay?” Anthony asked, while trying to stand to his feet; Anthony found Corey dead under the train. Anthony got to his feet; his eye sight was still a bit blurry.

“What was that?” Anthony thought. Anthony could remember an explosion happening before he blacked out. Anthony saw a man like figure in the distance. The man was getting closer and closer. Anthony was not able to see him through the smoke.

“Help me!” Anthony coughed. Anthony fell back to the floor; the man walked through the smoke. The man was a young boy; he had to be about nineteen or younger.

“Don’t worry Military Vixion scum. You won’t feel anymore pain” the boy held his right hand out.

“What are you doing?” Anthony was slowly blacking out.

“For master” the boy muttered. Anthony quickly caught on fire; he reached out to the boy, but the boy just walked away.

“You should at least know who killed you. My name is Dante” the boy disappeared into the smoke.

 

“Whoa! Look at that brother, most of the houses are made of thick glass” Jake exclaimed, as the stepped off the train; most of the houses were covered in glass, but the glass wasn’t see through.

“So this is the place” Nina sighed.

“Hm? You know this place?” Jake asked; Jake turned to Elsine who was looking further down the tracks.

“Smoke?” Elsine thought.

“My brother told me about this place once. This is where the glass maiden lives” Nina explained.

“Glass maiden?” Jake repeated to himself. Jake turned back to his brother who was already walking.

“Wait up brother” Jake yelled.

“Sorry, but I want to find a hotel that is not made of glass before sunset” Elsine yawned.

“How are you going to pay for a hotel?” Jake questioned, while walking behind him.

“Easy. Nina is paying for us” Elsine winked.

“And why would I do that!” Nina shouted.

“Well I think you owe me for making my nose bleed” Elsine smiled. Nina huffed and shook her head.

“I guess” Nina groaned.
