Epitome Of My Pain

Epitome Of My Pain

A Poem by karmic

Your love is so f*****g overrated

I hate every time you say it

From the moment you said goodbye

I realized that word was a lie

Ever since I was abandoned by the sun

I hated you and everyone

I wish I could peak through the curtain

Because everything around me seem too uncertain

Your eyes show that everything went in vain

While you lips are smeared with pain

How can you compare me?

To what you pretend to be

A black sheep in a different skin

But forced to endure the same end

You’re the epitome

Of my pity

Go ahead, once again say goodbye

Because you know you’re killing me from the inside

The feelings in this sound very real by the tone and the intensity. And if theyre not more power to you for conveying it. Either way this was a great poem, very well worded throughout. loved this bit:
To what you pretend to be

A black sheep in a different skin

But forced to endure the same end

Very powerful. I can relate exactly to how you feel, and these words really speak to me...so to speak.

I don't have any criticisms. The piece seemed a bit choppy but that works better with something like this.

Adding it to my library.
