The reason

This is nothing big, i just thought of this off the top of my head.

It’s crystal clear

Why you hold on too tight

Why you hide your tears

And cry at night

 

Why you don’t want me to protect you

I’m the reason you feel this way

And why you always fall through

Everything I say

 

Leaving this world and me alone

But all I want to do is protect you from pain

But now you’re numb as stone

And now all went in vain

 

How can I dislocate

This feeling

Among this thrill of hate

That it’s you it is killing

 

To all the times I lied

Came to a blur of treason

Making a simple divide

But I’ am the reason
