Forever waiting

Forever waiting

A Poem by karmic

I can never sleep knowing that your dead

memories still racing through my head

I can still remember the last thing that you said

I'm still praying where you layed

your touch is starting to fade

forever more i will hate

forever more i will wait

since you been gone it feels like the world stood still

nothing now will ever feel real

my heart has now turned to steel

I'm waiting for my life to finish

before my love could fully diminish

When i die i will whisper your name

hoping you still feel the same

This is beautifully written! It's breathtaking. The flow of the work is wonderfully done. Very nice work.

This is so touching, and I know it was written from the heart. This seems so specific to me, not at all like most poems of this matter.

'I'm still praying where you layed

your touch is starting to fade'

I really liked these lines.
