I had a dream.A Poem by xLeonardxI had a dream. The dream, most peculiar t’was one! A white flower - the beauty I’ve never seen, Swimming in the river, next to the silver Swan.
Next to the silver Swan, his head a shade of scarlet, Closed its saturnine eyes, Laid in the bed of azure river.
Laid in the bed of azure river, White flower now scarlet too, They both sank deep under… Deep under the silky surface.
Deep under the silky surface, The weeds sang with a low hum, Mourning the Silver Swan, the white flower too.
The white flower too, Shall remembered be, For its beauty, The rarest one was.
The rarest one was, The Silver swan. He’s up in the ether now, Singing in a low hum.
Singing in a low hum, Mourning the white flower, The ballad of the forest choir, Mourning the poor souls.
Mourning the poor souls, The song of the night, The hum shall be heard, Until the morning light. © 2012 xLeonardxAuthor's Note
