I hope you know, dear

I hope you know, dear

A Poem by Karlie Kadabra.

I feel sick to my stomach,

And I can't seem to sleep.

This missing you has got the best of me.

I hope you know

That I never wanted you to leave.

You said you knew this day was coming,

Said you knew it all along.

As soon as you say I love you,

You left me all alone.

Sad songs make memories race,

Pictures take the pain away.

I hope you know

I always wear your necklace.

Eyes tear up,

Mouths utter goodbyes.

What we'd rather say,

Is "I'll see you in a while."

This pain is taking over my heart,

It's attacking my head.

This war of denial is over,

But we knew this from the start.

I'll love you till the end,

You'll always be my best friend.

As hard as things seem,

I hope you know

That miles don't mean anything.

I've lost something dear and special to me before: A life that will never come back. I lost her to herself, by her own hands...I lost her and so much more. I loved her like a sister and now...she's gone. But the light is coming, shining from the end of the tunnel. I just have to reach for it!

I know it's hard to lose something you cannot have control over, something so precious. It doesn't matter how far someone is, how far away, even if seas seperate you, hold onto their memory like never before. but let that memory not bring pain, let it be something you can say, "I have this. This right here shall be enough until we can be one again. Until then, I will grow, remain ever strong." Though it may be hard, life...Life is still worth it. I don't mean to sound condesending or cold, or stating hard facts. I just want you to know that it may be hard to get over but...But I know you'll be able to. It takes time, I know... I am here.

Great write though.
Sad it is, but the meaning behind it holds something wondrous: You can still love. Not just another, not shallow, but deeply, and that depth will pay off.

Awww.. This is sad. Having your most precious object being taken away from you by something you can't contol sucks. And it's hard to get over. Stay strong and well done.
