My Happiness

My Happiness

A Poem by Karlie Kadabra.

You told me
I'd be happier without you.
Well that must mean you never understood
How happy I was with you.
I was happier than a little girl in pigtails,
Running to her daddy on a sunny afternoon.
You failed to see the whole picture.
You failed to see my happiness.

I just love short poems like these that just capture everything so wonderfully!

I would hug you if I was there, but I'm not :/ But, writing things out helps with moving on and stuff, trust me. That's what all my recent poetry was: me letting go and moving on.
