Sweet Acoustics

Your voice was as sweet as the songs you played on guitar.

You make such sweet acoustics

In the most eccentric ways.

The guitar you hold in your hands

Is not the only thing that can sound beautiful.

Your voice sounds of 

The most sincere hello's,

The most cherished I love you's,

and the most distressing goodbye's.

Your breathing is more calming

Than any ocean tide.

Your eyes are so deep

I get lost in them,

Not wanting to find a way out.

You're so beautiful

And you don't even know it.

You say you aren't sweet,

But I prefer you over sugar.

May we please pause life and stay together forever?

You're so perfect 

In the most imperfect ways.

In this poem, you did such a wonderful job of describing what true love can be like. When two people are meant to be together, they can become in sync, and much like they are one together....beautiful poem :) Nice work!

I really like the last two lines. Perfect in the most imperfect ways. Very poetic and entirely illogical and yet makes perfect sense. Only problem I see is that it should be "Your voice sounds of."

I. LOVE. THIS. So much improvement from your other poem I just read! The only line that seemed oddly out of place to me was this one "Is not the only thing that can sound beautiful." Not sure why. Maybe try a different way of wording? Really, really, like the poem from that point on. Love the comparison of his voice to several things, and the lines "Your breath is more calming than any ocean tide." and "You say you aren't sweet, but I prefer you over sugar." The cutest boys are the ones that don't know it. (: You've got an excellent way with words!
