Always and Forever

I had suffer and was depressed in the eighth grade,

My friend had died and he started to fade.

We knew each other in the beginning of middle school,

We talked and talked and I thought he was cool.

As two years pass, we were still together,

And he said we’ll be friends always and forever.

Then I went home and cook on my own,

I jumped when I heard a ring, it was the phone.

I answered the phone and said, “Hello?”

They told me my friend was in the hospital, my legs felt like Jell-O.

They told me late at night he had a present he bought,

A car hit him and then he got shot.

I went to see him the next day,

He was bloody in the face and he passed away.

The doctors told me they had nothing to do,

I started crying, felling like a fool.

Now I know we will not be together,

But deep inside he’ll be in my heart…always and forever…
