True loves eternal

I was dodging from the Devil since I was eight,

But all my heart was filled with hate.

I never trust anyone or talk to my friends,

I always thought I will be alone in the very end.

I hear people talk about love and I thought about loneliness

I never fell in love because I thought love was foolishness.

But love came by at the strike of noon

And I thought I never thought I would fall in love very soon.

We became good friends and school had last

I thought about the things I did in the past.

Then one day love came to me and said

“We’ll always be together,

Forever, for our love is like a feather.

Words can’t truly describe what I feel,

I only want you to know what I say is real”.

So I’m here reading this to you in my journal,

Hopeful that this poem will be a true love’s eternal.
