Seasons

Seasons

A Poem by layla
"

a fun story

"

My shorts go away, and the sweaters come out

I look to my boyfriend, and instantly pout

You think we will get, just one more hot day

Just tell me yes, so my doubts go away

And of course he agrees, to deny me the truth

Seasons they pass, and I think of my youth

Older and older, with seasons I grow

When all the leaves fall, here comes the snow

The heat bills goes up, and driving takes time

You have to slow down, and surprise there’s a line

When on the first, of the new coming year

I cheers to snow melting, and spring being near

The beautiful flowers, rain fall, and fresh air

I start to unpack, the shorts that I ware

So slowly spring comes, and quickly it goes

Summer is here, hello shorts and toes!!
