That First Kiss

THAT FIRST KISS

I can't forget that first kiss we had.

The day your lips met mine.

It was as if time had stopped just for us.

Even if it was only for a moment or two.

I could feel my heart start to race.

As all my emotions started to build.

I was pretty sure that I didn't know what I was doing.

However my heart seemed to know exactly what it

  was doing, so I let my heart lead me.

If it wasn't for you holding me up, I'm not sure that

  my legs would have held me upright.

All I knew at that moment, it was just you and me,

I couldn't even think.
I wanted that kiss to last forever.

Our lips softly touched.

I couldn't help the way that I was feeling.

I never felt so alive as I did at that moment in time.

I couldn't stop my heart from racing in that way.

I knew by the way that you were kissing me, 

that you were feeling the same way that I was.

We clung to each other, as the kiss deepened.

It was as if we were one;

as if we had known each other a lifetime already.

Lost souls looking for each other.

The only thing that I could do, 

was get lost in that kiss;

there was nothing else I could think about 

or want to think about.

I knew that it was real, and no longer a dream.

I've wanted this kiss for oh so long.

Everyone has these feelings and emotions when they go in for that first kiss, you've captured it perfectly. This is a beautiful read :) I would recommend maybe changing the format tho, the large font is unappealing to read... other then that its gorgeous :)
