i really love this. it has a natural lyrical pacing that i sort of sung to myself in my head.

one suggested change...

"& lies wrapped up in a locket" - this came across as too many syllables and tripped up the meter... maybe something like "& lies locked in a locket". just a suggestion.

otherwise this had a very naturalistic and moving quality.
