UNLIKE MY CHILDHOOD

UNLIKE MY CHILDHOOD

A Poem by Karan Ashara
"

Childhood happens to be a golden phase of our life. Once we come out of there is no returning back from it.

"
Smiles and laughter have forever been lost,
The greatest happiness has lost forever,
The beautiful love has since then gone,
A time when I was always gleeful.

So much worth it was to me, my dear!
An evanescent childhood has forever been evaporated,
By the heat of time that always accompanies us,
A chameleon that can never be forgotten.

That wonderful freedom has for forever been snatched;
Is there anything so upsetting?
My happiness has forever been gone,
Because of the cruelty of time.

The sky above us is so bright and clear,
A cloud floating high above,
But as it moves forth it withers,
And time and tide vanishes it at last.

The warm light has for forever been dimmed,
The throbbing heart is now tired,
Forever is, for forever it is,
That is why I say,"Good, but unlike my childhood."

I am KARAN-Karan Ashara. My first name means pure. That's a kind of a nasty joke i know. I am a very very sentimental kind of a person. Yet, in most of the cases it is advantageous for me specially on.. more..
