I can if you can

I can if you can

A Poem by P. Kapper

I can’t dance

But I would for you

I can’t sing

But I’ll serenade you

I don’t drink

But I’m drunk on your love

And I won’t lie

Unless it’s next to you

I won’t steal

But you stole my heart

I won’t cry

But tears of joy

I won’t make a promise

That I know I can’t keep

BUT

I can

Make you smile

I can

Make you laugh

I can

Make you happy

I can

Love you for the rest of your life

And I will

If you will love me
