Would any of those make me happy?

Would they be rewarding?

Fill me with pride?

Perhaps they might…for a while

What could I do?

Drive?

Keep people alive?

Just survive?

I guess they could suffice

Would I go back to school?

Become one with a tool?

Oh, I must sound like a fool

Would I make a good lover?

How I’d like to discover

Cures to heal another

But what can I be?

A pretender?

Defender?
