Come

I got inspired to write this when I was bored and cooking. It's very simple and easy

Come as the Rain,
Oh Come, Oh Come
Come as the Wind,
Blow Wide, Blow Strong
As long as you come
As long as you come
Blow, fall, but never fail to come.

Come as a Child,
Come now, Come quick
A beautiful Child I see,
Be Glad, not Sad
As long as you play
As long as you play
Play till you tire and sleep.

I like that you find enough inspiration in a span of cooking a meal to write a poem like this. That is a gift that you should appreciate. In my experience, inspiration is sometimes hard to channel and rarely am I able to finalize something I write so quickly, at least to the point where I'm willing to share it with others. You may have prompted me to change the methodology I use on my next poem though. Thank you for sharing this beautiful poem.
