All the While Still-Walking

All the While Still-Walking

A Poem by Terry Kant

Along the Courtyard, a lonely lady strolled.
Her mind and sight attuned, and much to see--
A sea of moving faces moved idly
Not two alike, yet all the same they show
The tones and colorful hues of humanity,
Each expressing a gait and lively soul.

Lest sightly hidden faces downward face,
Neither can they be  seen nor see--

Along the Courtyard, a lonely lady scrolled,
Her mind veered from scene,
Her sight set to screen,
Her thumbs move the dream,
Amiss is she, all the while still walking,
All the while still-walking...
