Chasing ButterfliesA Poem by KangaballsWhat it feels like to finally let go and follow your dream.
I've been told for so long
That being bi-polar makes me disabled. What people don't understand Is that they can label me all they want; I'm still free. Free to chase my butterflies Far into the sky above. Yes some days I feel like I'm drowning, Like everything around me is telling me I can't. Yes those days might be quite blinding, And I want to curl into a ball and hide from every one; I'm still free. Free to chase my butterflies Far into the sky above. Some times I chase them too high, So high I can't see the ground. I face the danger of falling down, But still I soar into the sky without looking back. I'm still free. Free to chase my butterflies Far into the sky above. No, I don't know if I'll ever reach my goal, If I'll ever become this famous named author Who people flock to, and surround For autograph pictures, and a hearty well done. But I'll always be free. Free to chase my butterflies Far into the sky above. © 2015 KangaballsAuthor's Note
