The Old Diary

The Old Diary

A Poem by Kanchi

For yet another a deep sigh,

Brandishing the treasures, memories all low and high!

Reminisces, a pleasurable delight, carving the magnanimous band,

Relief is set forth, when drops of water bestow upon the deserted land!

Reaping the enriched invaluable slots, relives in the solitary thoughts,

Shades of life never enunciated, like leaves it grows and it rots!

Eclipse befalls upon the already tarnishing oblivion, now lost,

Encompassed in the divine bubble rejuvenates the merry frost!

Every negligent drop, enhances the tank, a journey too far, yet it vanishes, turns faint,

Illusions is the teeming passion, realistic fancies never to elude, one has to paint!

And for just another sigh,

I go, and lies replenishing the canvas of the exotic blend, my life sublimes, a moment high!
