Dream

A Poem by David Kaminsky
"

A forgettable fading..

"
Dream

The silent echo of a summer breeze,
The faint smell of exotic flowers fill the night air,
The moon shines against the lake,
Slowly drifting,
Slowly fading.

The breeze rattles and shakes the deep green leaves,
The bright orange daffodils,
The sea green waves of the ocean.

You sit and stare into the night sky,
Overwhelmed by the aroma of summer,
Of the breathtaking beauty around you,
And you wake up,
Restless and drowsy,
It was all just a dream.

"You sit an stare into the night sky" ah, just a minor error, you forgot the "d" at the end of "an".

it's simple, though I would have liked to see a little more detail. but that's just my personal preference. I gorge myself on detail.
But it's a very clean-cut write.

some things are too good to be true. they don't ever really last.

About
I often find that there is a certain beauty in pain. However much it heart, breaks, and screams... it signifies something bigger, something so powerful that it stops everything in your life and consum.. more..
