DreamA Poem by David KaminskyA forgettable fading..Dream The silent echo of a summer breeze, The faint smell of exotic flowers fill the night air, The moon shines against the lake, Slowly drifting, Slowly fading. The breeze rattles and shakes the deep green leaves, The bright orange daffodils, The sea green waves of the ocean. You sit and stare into the night sky, Overwhelmed by the aroma of summer, Of the breathtaking beauty around you, And you wake up, Restless and drowsy, It was all just a dream.
