I'm a book without pages.

A paralyzed runner.

A sick doctor.

An ambulance that has crashed.

A dog that lost its bark.

A tree without leaves.

Summer with no sun.

A sky without stars.

A house with no roof.

A heart with no blood.

An eye with no tears.

A knife with no edge.

A Christmas with no St. Nick.

A night with no moon 

and a lost soul without a map.

I am a puzzle with one missing piece.

A blank globe,

and a nerd without the grades.

I am still missing that piece of my heart,

and its time that I fight to get it back.
