"Lonesome Thoughts"

"Lonesome Thoughts"

A Poem by Kameron Armitage
"

.

"
One word is the container
Holding so much fury.
Only silence screams,
Sending trickles of shame,
Spiraling down the spine.

Clocks without numbers,
Mock us with joy,
As tome continues its stalemate,
I huddle alone; abandoned.

Love flees.
Happiness vanishes.
Confidence erodes.
Thoughts coincide.
A montage of pain.

Blurry visions from false prophets,
Continue to appear; listen; speak.
Whispering.
"Dying alone is option number one."
Then the voices fade.
No two.
No three.

Obediently listening.
Falling to the floor.
Screaming her name.
The one who will always be loved.

"Eyes rest in peace before the sun wakes once more."
