"You Thought You Could Win"

"You Thought You Could Win"

A Poem by Kameron Armitage
"

.

"

The sting of his had,
Throbbing of my bones,
Numbing of my fingers,
He just won't let go.

One cringe after another,
I wince in fear,
"Don't show your f*****g weakness,
Not even one little tear."

Body losing the will,
To continue this useless fight,
This secret pain I'm holding in,
Haunts my dreams at night.

One day I will swing the hand,
So you can bare the scar.
My heart will endure,
And your black heart can char.
