"Resurrection"A Poem by Kameron ArmitageI love you babyA space in my life,
the once eternal gap; black hole. I had fallen, and continued to fall; Alice preparing for my journey. Tangled in thick vines, whipped by overhanging branches, bitten by mysterious insects; so lost. No road to follow, simply the faint remedies, of the harp in the distance. My eyelids had fallen, gravity had done its job; dragging me to the core of the earth. With an outreached hand, I had swallowed my last drop of hope, last drop. The rain began to fall, my hand was slipping; please catch me.. As my muscle let go, gravity gave its final tug, the warmth of a hand saved me. Looking up through battered eyes, the tears streamed the crevices, being pulled to safety at last. Exuberant heat steamed off, reviving my dead soul, purifying tainted blood flooding my veins. With one last strand of hope, I look into her eyes, and plea for an eternal love. © 2010 Kameron ArmitageAuthor's Note
