"Perception"

"Perception"

A Poem by Kameron Armitage

When our eyes explore a woman,

we do not wonder how she obtained her clothing,

nor what she consumed for her last meal.

We wonder what it would be like,

to be with her at that very moment.

To touch her skin,

and feel her gentle lips on our.

If only....

If only our minds would detect the feeling,

the feeling or her.

However we cannot.

For the touch of a woman's lips against ours is a fantasy,

more than any mind can comprehend.

Ant to comprehend is to simply

acknowledge that those emotions and

fantasies exist.

Whether or not they will be fulfilled is the

mystery

that can never be solved.

Thus we are left,

heartbroken...
