"Help Me"

"Help Me"

A Poem by Kameron Armitage
"

.....self explanatory

"

Don't smile when you know I'm hurting

Don't laugh when you know I'm sad

Mourn for the mourning and cry with the sad.

Do not attempt the liberal emotion changes that are tried everyday.

Don't tell me that you love me,

when you mean as a friend.

If I want something more,

don't pity, embrace.

Embrace the fact that someone is willing to make you

as happy as they possibly can.

Do what they can to make you laugh,

soak up the tears,

and hold your hand.

Through better or worse I am willing,

and willing it remains....

Until the day that blindfold is lifted from your eyes,

and you see that it could be exactly,

yes exactly,

what you have always wanted.

Not the perfect, nor ordeal,

not even above standards,

But I care more than you know.

The pain does not dwindle,

nor will it untill you are gone.

But do not leave me alone,

cold and hungry,

for without you I am lost and unable to return.

I guess what I am trying to say is...

Help Me...
