A Poem by Kameron Armitage

When will the lies of the ancient gods come to an end,

discontinue those discriminatory ways and,

rise on the occasion,

become what you were meant to be,

as the empty, spirits dissolute they roam the steaming grounds,

the imprints of their trails are unmistakable,

they seem to cause pain to the small, fragile minds,

yet they know it is right,

the wisdom instilled will continue their future,

making them all that they were meant to be,

...until that future becomes the past and mistakes become memories we cannot dwell nor perish,

the blame may only be carved into our own souls,

to be forever.
