"Pigeons"A Poem by Kameron ArmitageAll Lined Up Single formation as insticts tell us to. As pigeons do fly, but not together. When the weather allows Our wings are S P R E A D like giant umbrellas covering us from the pelting rain. We put them in motion and soar through thee sky we call home. On hot summer days we sit and we wait. Clouds hover and block the big burning barrier. It's time. Our flight we begin at last. We fly and peer down at microscopic people below Invincable. Approaching that destination that we have longed for so long. Caught in the Moment. We swoop down for our final descent. All guards are down. Only to crash into the invisable window. This once clean, clear window is now painted with my Blood Dreams And what could have existed. We are pigeons And this is our Life © 2009 Kameron ArmitageReviews
