Lost

Lost

A Poem by Kameron Armitage

So many times

I said I was done.

So many times

After my pain had begun.

This girl that I love

Was on an island

I could not reach, nor touch, nor hear her.

But I continued to yell

With faith in mind.

That faith begins to dwindle

Until it finally blends with the air.

I always said I didn't want to feel what I'm feeling.

I always said it was terrible fate I was sealing.

It caused me the pain that I did not want.

I was tired of love's games, and menacing taunt.

That love is now gone.

Something I thought I would welcome.

But that love was a nail and my heart was its board.

It left a hole where it was once stuck.

I prefer that hole filled, without I am nothing.

A mere boy, lost.

Lovely poem, without her love I dont exist, im lost. This poem is kinda sad from my point of view. Trying so hard to reach her, yelling her name, wishing you can see her. Love is fading away from him. Kameron this is a fantastic write, sansational poem!
